REST & RECUPERATION
Rest is another essential part
of the bodybuilding triad. Rest refers not only to time between sets but
also to time between training the same body part.
Over training hinders a bodybuilder’s development. They do not allow enough time for the muscles they have assaulted to recuperate properly before placing a demand on them yet again.
This is the final component of the triad of bodybuilding. However, there is one overriding factor that ties all three together. That is CONSISTANCY.
No one of these is more important than the other. It is the consistency of all three that will result in the bodybuilder accomplishing their established goals.
